We provide a local talking newspaper service to the visually impaired in the Canterbury and surrounding area and so if you know someone who would enjoy keeping in touch with local news and information please tell them about us.
Our service is weekly and completely free. We record at least 90 minutes of news from the Kentish Gazette newspaper which is intended to help those with limited sight keep in touch with what's going on in the area. We also include additional programmes of local interest and entertainment.
As all this is recorded on USB Sticks we also provide players free of charge on which to listen.
We are a registered Charity run entirely by volunteers.
If you or someone you know is interested in joining our 'Family' of listeners contact one of our Team for more information on support@canterburyrecorder.org.uk
